Nebraska Extension is offering a Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and Trick Dog Certification Day at the Animal Science Complex on University of Nebraska–Lincoln East Campus on Saturday, Oct. 15, 11 a.m.–2 p.m. Usually, these certifications require a fee for each dog, but due to a generous approved evaluator and volunteer, fees are only $5 per dog for 4-H youth! Youth can bring multiple dogs if they feel that they are ready (4-H Vaccination forms are required).
Please register by Monday, Oct. 10 by 2 p.m. at https://ssp.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_2g8GLTu7799biqW
CHANGE IN REQUIREMENTS: To allow more youth to participate, youth do NOT need to have dogs registered to AKC and still receive the certificate (upon completion of the test). They can claim to pass the test (upon completion) and receive a certificate but do not officially earn the AKC title.
If you have questions about the event, contact Extension Assistant Grace Kim at 402-472-6085 or ekim23@unl.edu.
