The Nebraska 4-H Video Companion Animal Showmanship Contest provides youth an opportunity to showcase the knowledge and skills they have developed in their 4-H companion animal project. Entry is open to 4-H’ers ages 10–18 who are enrolled in a companion animal project, which includes cat, ferret, guinea pig/cavy, pet rabbits (not for show), rodents, birds, reptiles and amphibians. Videos should be recorded at the youth’s home and submitted following the instructions at https://4h.unl.edu/companion-animal-showmanship. Entries can be submitted starting July 1 and are due by Monday, Aug. 12 at 5 p.m.
