Do you know youth who are interested in joining 4‑H or adults who would like to help start a club? Invite them to the "Launch Your 4‑H Journey" special event (formerly called 4‑H Information Night) on Sunday, Oct. 5, 5 p.m. at Nebraska Extension in Lancaster County, 444 Cherrycreek Road, Suite A, Lincoln.
4‑H staff will give an overview of 4‑H and several 4‑H'ers will showcase their projects like STEM, art and other exhibits, plus live rabbits! There will be free hot dogs, refreshments and fun door prizes!
Families can also learn more about 4‑H and fill out "Get Involved in 4‑H" forms online at https://lancaster.unl.edu/join4h.
In Nebraska, 4‑H is part of Nebraska Extension and is open to all youth aged 5‑18. There are no fees to join 4‑H in Lancaster County. 4‑H youth can choose from over 50 projects to learn by doing.
Families are needed to help organize new clubs!
