Day Without Shoes Every April, "Getting Them Back on Their Feet." Collection Dates April 6th–19th.

This year, the Lancaster County 4‑H Teen Council has chosen to support the national Day Without Shoes campaign. This service project encourages people to donate new or gently used shoes, which will be distributed to families in need. The campaign also raises awareness about the meaningful difference something as simple as a pair of shoes can make in a person’s daily life.

If you have shoes to donate, Teen Council is collecting shoes through Monday, April 20, 9 a.m. in a receptacle located at the Nebraska Extension in Lancaster County's office lobby, 444 Cherrycreek Road, Suite A, Lincoln. Office hours are Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m. After hours, shoes may be put in the drop-off box outside the front door.

In Lincoln, the campaign is called "Getting Them Back on Their Feet," and led by People's City Mission and Cornhusker Bank, with collection dates April 6th–19th at multiple locations. For more information visit, https://www.cornhusker.bank/day-without-shoes-lincoln

Thank you for helping support this meaningful service project!
