Nebraska 4-H is now compiling monthly theme activities, "Spark Start," to match seasonal themes and real-world topics, making it simple to keep youth curious, creative and learning throughout the year.
April's activities focus on loving our planet. Through hands-on learning about recycling, sustainability and greenhouse growing, youth ages K–12 can explore how small actions make a big impact on the Earth. These engaging activities help young people build awareness of how they can care for natural resources while having fun experimenting, building and discovering.
Upcoming themes will be:
• May: Pollinators
• June: Summer is Here!
