Dear Huskers,

September was a month to remember—and it’s all thanks to you.

From the rhythmic steps of Sangre Azteca and the soulful voice of Mariana Hernandez at Fiesta on the Green, to the laughter shared over pupusas, churros and 360-degree video moments, your energy brought our celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month to life. The campus came alive with music, color and connection—and we couldn’t have done it without you.

A special thank you goes to all the RSOs and Campus Partners who hosted tables, shared their stories and created spaces for everyone to learn, engage, and celebrate together. Your collaboration turned Fiesta on the Green into more than an event—it became a living example of what community looks like in action.

We’re also grateful to everyone who joined us for:
- Movie Nights with the Kawasaki Reading Room — where film became a bridge for cultural understanding.
- Lunch & Learn: Global Experiences Student Panel — where students shared powerful stories of discovery, growth and connection across borders.

Each of these moments reminded us why we do what we do: to bring people together through shared experiences, stories, and opportunities to learn from one another.

And we’re just getting started. October brings another month full of meaningful programs and new opportunities to connect.

Check out what’s coming next below—and mark your calendars!

With appreciation,
Student Culture & Community
