On January 29, students gathered in the Oasis Lounge for Black History Jeopardy Night, a fast-paced and interactive way to mark the start of Black History Month. The event turned learning into friendly competition, with trivia covering African American leaders, artists, scientists, athletes and the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The first students to arrive received SCC swag, and five top scorers won prizes including mini speakers and desk lamps. With great questions, strong energy and plenty of laughs, the night showed that history can be both educational and fun, especially when learned together.
