Don’t forget! All advisors and student success professionals at UNL have access to on-demand professional development resources via the “Advisor Training and Professional Development” Canvas page. This includes materials for assessing and using the NACADA Core Competencies, recordings of past trainings, and professional development modules for both new and seasoned advisors. Recently added are two new modules, one on writing your own personal philosophy of advising and one on some of the many different approaches to advising that may enrich your work with students.
