Statistician is one of the fastest growing occupations in the US, and the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources is responding to the call for this demand by offering the new Statistics and Data Analytics undergraduate degree program. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, ‘Statistician’ is one of the fastest growing occupations in the US, and demand for such skills is spread across industries such as finance, professional services, agricultural industries, and information technology. Focused electives will allow students in this program to explore other interests such as mathematics, psychology, emerging media arts, or even graduate-level coursework. The option for such focused electives will allow students to explore what is most meaningful in their undergraduate studies, and these electives may be applied to an undergraduate minor.
