Action Requested: Seeking Mentors for RAMP

NACADA Region 6 Advising Mentoring Program
NACADA Region 6 Advising Mentoring Program

We really need your help with a final push for the Region 6 Advising Mentoring Program (RAMP) recruitment! We have a cohort of 6 incoming mentees who represent a wide variety of backgrounds and identities and are looking for an equally diverse group of mentors to support their development.

We have had ZERO Mentor applications so far, and the original deadline for submission was Friday, January 26 (which we have extended)!

We strive to make very intentional matches based on mentees' professional goals and identities. Based on the current applicant pool, we are looking for Mentors who have any of the following experiences or identities (and more):
• Queer Advisors
• Neurodivergent Advisors
• Advising students in the humanities
• Advising students with disabilities
• Balancing parenthood and career advancement
• Advising students at a community/technical college
• Advising undecided students
• Dual enrollment advising (advising high school students taking college courses)
If you know anyone who shares any of these identities that would be willing to serve as a Mentor, please encourage them to apply! Applications for the RAMP 24-25 cohort can be found here. (Note we will continue accepting applications past the January 26 deadline.)

Thanks in advance!
