Study Studio is a free peer tutoring program hosted by UNL's OASIS (Office of Academic Success and Intercultural Services). Study Studio Learning Consultants hold regular weekly drop-in tutoring hours at the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center, providing one-on-one and small-group academic support in one or more of our highest-need subject areas (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Math, and more). Because Study Studio supports all UNL students, an earnest desire and demonstrated ability to work with students from all backgrounds is more important to us than the number of courses each tutor can support. If you know a first- or second-year student who has a strong academic track record so far, a demonstrated ability to support students from all backgrounds, and Federal Work Study eligibility, we encourage you to refer them to apply!
You and your students can learn more about Study Studio at go.unl.edu/study-studio, and they can apply by May 12 at go.unl.edu/study-studio-apply. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis—so the sooner they apply, the better!
