New Interior Design Studies Minor
The College of Architecture is pleased to introduce a new Interior Design Studies Minor, open to students across the university. This program explores how interior environments shape human experience and provides foundational knowledge in design history, theory, sustainability, and human-centered spaces.
Designed for non-majors, the minor builds design literacy and supports interdisciplinary learning. It complements a wide range of fields—including business, health, hospitality, psychology, journalism, fine arts, and environmental studies—where understanding space and human behavior is valuable.
Many courses within the minor may also fulfill ACE requirements, allowing students to enhance their academic experience while adding depth to their degree.
