College of Law students studying.

It’s that time of year! Students are completing their last classes and getting geared up to start their law school careers. If you have students who have been admitted to Nebraska Law, the first of two deposit deadlines to secure a seat in our incoming class is Wednesday, April 15th.

For students still exploring their options, we have upcoming events where they can explore life as a student at Nebraska Law, learn about the application process, and more! Registration for all events can be found on our Visits Page.

Discover Nebraska Law Day
Prospective students can join us for an in-person Discover Day on Friday, April 17th at 9:30am, where they will have the opportunity to speak with the admissions team, hear from a panel of current students, and tour the College of Law.

Information Session (Virtual)
On Wednesday, April 22nd at 7:00pm CT, Nebraska Law is hosting an Information Session. This session gives future legal professionals an overview of the programs, curriculum, and community available at Nebraska Law.

Application Chat
Do your students have questions about how to apply to law school? Are they at a loss with their personal statement? Send them our way on June 12th or July 24th at 1:30pm for an in-person Application Chat, where the admissions team will break down each part of the application. Then, Dr. Melissa McCoy, Assistant Dean of Admissions, will run a personal statement workshop to help your students brainstorm and start their first drafts.

Students of all majors and class years are welcome to join!
