Consider starting with the following Chronicle articles: “Poor Kids, Limited Horizons” and “Engine of Inequality?” or other readings recommended in past newsletters.
The Executive committee looks forward to the February 25th “#wholestudentwholeadvisor: Advising to Promote Diversity and Social Justice” conference, and we hope that you will come to the conference ready to engage in active listening, open and constructive dialogue, and to generate actionable ideas so that our advising community can be involved in shaping a culture of social justice at UNL.
