• Feb. 12: Flyover Performance III. 7:30 p.m. No in-person audience. Virtual. Visit https://music.unl.edu the day of the performance for the link. The Flyover New Music Series, aka Flyover New Music, is the new music series from the composition studio at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Glenn Korff School of Music. Since its founding in 2017, Flyover has presented over 60 new pieces by student composers in the Glenn Korff School of Music, featuring over 40 composers and 130 volunteer performers.

• Feb. 17-21: The Nebraska Repertory Theatre revives "A Thousand Words." Performances are online only and are at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 17-20 and 2 p.m. on Feb. 21. Free and available to stream at the designated show times. Visit http://nebraskarep.org for more information. When Jeremiah Wolcott is tasked with consolidating what matters most in life to a single box, a poetic and powerful world of images unfolds.

• Feb. 18: Clark Potter Faculty Lecture/Recital: "Playing Bach's 6th Cello Suite on Viola: Fighting through the Muck to Reach the Prize." No in-person audience. Virtual. Visit https://music.unl.edu the day of the performance for the link. Bach wrote the sixth suite for a five-stringed instrument of some kind. But for what instrument was it composed and why? Potter will perform his own edition of this suite on a 5-stringed viola after attempting to answer some difficult questions about the work as conceived by Bach. The viola used in the performance was provided to the University thanks to a gift from the Constance Miriam Syford & Ethel Corrine Syford Memorial Fund which supports faculty research. This performance will be the first time the instrument will be heard in public.
