College Ambassadors coordinate activities with prospective students, parents, alumni and the general public. They also give tours of their educational department to prospective students interested in fine and performing arts majors. Ambassadors dedicate their time, talents and enthusiasm at special events including: Red Letter Days, Husker Weekdays, The Big Red Road Show, Glenn Korff School of Music music and dance performances, Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film productions and Department of Art and Art History art exhibitions.

“My end goal is to grow a strong program of student leaders who will not only support the college’s administrative offices but will take our overarching recruitment initiatives to the next level,” Griffin said.

The college recently launched a new recruitment initiative called, “The Cast” that features current students in art, dance, film, music and theatre. This new marketing campaign will feature six ambassadors and their personal stories. A premiere of the videos will be held at the Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center on Oct. 2 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. All high school students in the Lincoln or Omaha area are welcome to attend the event.
