• Amy Smith (MFA 2000) is among the ceramic artists featured in the Omaha North Hills Pottery Tour, an annual event featuring 18 local and national clay artists with stops at four working studios. Smith will be at the Florence Mill stop. The self-guided tours will take place Oct 3-4. • Terry Hager (MFA 1989) has had artwork accepted into the 30th Annual Juried "Art of the Plains" exhibit and sale at the Great Plains Art Museum, 1155 Q St., through Oct. 24. Included in the show are 119 artworks from 82 artists from across the country.

• Actor Adam Jefferis (B.A. 2003) appeared on HBO's "The Brink" in August.

• Jared Rawlings (M.M. 2006) was awarded the 2015-2016 Brown Innovation Fellow for Teaching and Learning at Stetson University. The Brown Innovation Fellows Program focuses on innovative teaching and learning with an emphasis on course-building and high quality pedagogy.
