Mark your calendar for our 21st University of Nebraska Bull Sale scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014. This is a student run sale and really highlights the hard work that UNL students put in throughout the semester.

DV AUCTION: Once again DV Auction will have our sale on the internet and you will be able to bid via your computer.

ANGUS: This year we are offering sons of NU Unique 9019 (AAA16439420), Connealy Combination (AAA 15180461), Frontman R001 (AAA 13592905), and MCC Relevance (AAA16846144).

HUSKER RED COMPOSITES: Our red composite bulls offer a blend of Red Angus, Simmental and Gelbvieh influence. The Gudmundson ranch in the Sandhills has been using our red bulls for years and consistently has pregnancy rates over 92%, cattle reaching over 80% choice, and mature weights between 1150 and 1250. This year's Husker Reds are sired by A3R Red Force 14W (Shear Force Son; ASA2521911), Schuler Red 62 S047 U571 (AR1258472), HCFA Pedro 609 (AR 1112958), GW Redestined 642X (ASA2566964), Schuler Y867 (2730927), Rushmore (ASA 2574812) and Husker 84X (ASA2575115).

HUSKER BLACK COMPOSITES: Our black composite bulls are sired by A3R Blackshirt 29W(Shear Force son; ASA2521912), TNT Ever Ready R232 (ASA2321654), and LCC Little Big Man U342X (ASA9858838).

Genetic Defects
All calves with a known carrier (AM, NH, or OS) in their 5 generation pedigree have been DNA tested as being non-carriers.

Visitors Welcome: You are welcome to look at the bulls at our Bull Development area on the Ag Research and Development Center (ARDC) near Mead. Directions from Lincoln: 28 miles north on Hwy. 77 to Hwy. 66, then 7.5 miles east to County Road 10, then 1 mile north to H street, then ½ mile east. Directions from Mead: 5 miles south on County Road 10 to H street, then ½ mile east.
