"Capstone Students Serve Community Partners" by Deepak Keshwani was featured in ASABE's Resource magazine. The article discussed the University of Nebraska's year-long Capstone design experience that challenges students.

The biological systems engineering department at the Univerity of Nebraska features a year-long Capstone design experience that challenges agricultural and biological systems students to develop engineering solutions to meet the needs of a range of stakeholders both on and off the campus. Students start the first semester of the year-long experience with an intense two-week rapid design challenge in which they work in teams to design, build, and test a device to deliver a fluid through a syringe at a constant flow rate without electricity or manual intervention. This experience serves as a launching pad for in-class discussions on team dynamics and the design process. To continue reading click here
