Nebraska Today featured several BSE faculty in their Achievements: Honors, awards, publications for Aug. 3 article. Dean Eisenhauer, Yufeng Ge, and Derek Heeren were celebrated for their ASABE awards. Nebraska Today also announced that David Jones was named department head.

Adam Liska was interviewed by the Omaha World-Herald for a story that was picked up by the Associated Press and U.S. News and World Report. The study covered a federal study on developing safe methods to collect and store carbon produced by coal-fired power plants and ethanol plants.

Yeyin Shi and a multidisciplinary research team from UNL were featured in The Fence Post for an upcoming study on soil nitrogen levels and protein levels in Nebraska-grown grain.

Yufeng Ge and his explorations into analyzing corn with LiDAR technology are one of the Manufacturing Bits for July 24 in Semiconductor Engineering.
