TAPS wraps up another year of competition with recognition, awards

The UNL Testing Ag Performance Solutions (TAPS) program recently concluded its 2018 competition season with a banquet and media recognition. The participants and organizers gathered for a celebration banquet in early December to recognize top producers in profitability, efficiency, and yield categories. Winners of the TAPS competition received plaques and monetary awards.

Daran Rudnick created the program with ag economist Matt Stockton and Extension specialist Chuck Burr.

The TAPS program was also honored with an award from Nebraska Extension. It received a 2018 Excellence in Extension Team award. All of the Nebraska Extension 2018 award winners can be read about in "2018 Nebraska Extension, NCEA and Epsilon Sigma Phi Award Winners".

The North Platte Telegraph shared the results of Daran Rudnick's 2018 TAPS competition in their article "University’s TAPS program announces winners at banquet".

OgallalaWater.org also wrote an article about the banquet and program award winners for their December newsletter.
