As reported by Robb Crouch for Nebraska Today, “In a 24-hour period Feb. 17-18, the 2021 Glow Big Red crowdfunding event set a new record by generating nearly 4,000 gifts totaling about $436,000 in support of University of Nebraska–Lincoln scholarships and programs.”
And as shared in CAS Matters, “Last week’s Glow Big Red campaign was highly successful for the College of Arts and Sciences. We set a goal of 150 gifts and received 389 gifts and raised nearly $60,000 for the college and participating units! This is just another reminder that when we collaborate together, we do BIG things in the college.”
A huge THANK YOU to those who supported CCFL while participating in Glow Big Red 2021! Having CCFL as a featured department was an honor, and being offered a dollar-for-dollar donor match up to $1,000 was an exciting fundraising and awareness-building opportunity for us. Thanks to the generosity and commitment of our donors, we met and exceeded our goal.
Without match dollars, CCFL raised more than three times the donations received in 2020. That amount increased six times over with our anonymous match donor’s munificence, for a total of $2,290 raised this year. Thank you to all who participated!
