NRPVYC's second session of its 2017 Winter Webinar Series will be held on Friday, December 2 from 1-2pm. Barbara Jessing, Clinical Director of Connections at Project Harmony, will be the presenter for Our Children Need to be Strong: The Impact of Trauma on Children and Adolescents. This session will focus on the child age 6 through adolescence. The following will be discussed: critical developmental processes, sources and types of trauma exposure, the symptoms and behaviors that may be seen, and the best practices for treating child trauma.
