Provide administration, management, maintenance, development, and troubleshooting of the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) internally and externally with system users and the software provider. Responsible for the initial and ongoing training of licensed users in the Lincoln Continuum of Care and Nebraska Balance of State Continuum of Care. Work as part of the UNL-CCFL HMIS Team which includes the Project Director, the other HMIS system administrators, the Program Manager of Homeless Coordinated Entry Systems, and the HMIS Administrative Assistant. Responsibilities include generating internal data reports for CCFL and extracting data for CCFL reports to the community and funders; providing initial and ongoing training to end users; assisting the HMIS Team with development and conducting of major HMIS efforts including Point in Time counts, Annual Homeless Assessment Reports, and Continuum of Care HMIS data reporting efforts. Travel may be required on occasion.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree plus one year of experience managing case management software; equivalent education/experience considered. Skilled in translating complex computer systems logic and workflow into non-technical language for system users. Knowledge of data collection techniques and data analysis concepts and logic.

Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum one year of experience as a licensed user of HMIS implementation using Bowman Service Point or similar software. Experience training system users.
