The Fun Committee is inviting you to participate in a fun activity to help get to know one another! Secret Cupid forms should have been sent to Denise last Friday, so the team could get everything in place to start Secret Cupiding on February 1st!
How Secret Cupid works:
1) Your Cupid will get your name and try to keep it a secret!
2) As Cupid – you can get creative with treating your person.
a. Examples from Denise: "1) my mom did this at the school she worked at. Her and my stepdad were woodworkers, they made puzzles. She gave her person one piece of the puzzle each day for a week! Then at the end they had a complete puzzle! She spent $0! 2) I love coffee and reading – so one of my previous co-workers bought me a cool coffee mug and snuck it in my office while I was at a meeting. Then she also gave me a used book (Girl on A Train if you care to know) that she had read and knew I’d love it!"
b. If you go the route of buying something – which is completely NOT required, keep it under $10. This is just for fun, not to break the bank!
3) Deliveries can be in mailboxes (for those of you out of the office, I’m sure someone would be happy to check your box and let you know what you got! AND I bet they’d make deliveries also!) OR secretly enter offices OR have a ‘go between’ deliver for you!
4) We will have a potluck on Wednesday, February 13th from 11 – 1 pm we will “reveal” the Secret Cupids at noon! Be ready to guess who you think had you! (NO pressure if you don’t know!) If you can’t be there the whole time, you can certainly join in and guess who your Secret Cupid is or tell your person who you had before after the “reveal” time!
Please feel free to only participate in both, or one or the other!
