To help celebrate our 10th anniversary as a college, CEHS is sponsoring one of this year’s speakers in the E.N. Thompson Forum on World Issues series. Internationally recognized scholar Yong Zhao from the University of Oregon will speak at 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at the Lied Center for Performing Arts. His speech “Catching Up or Leading the Way: American Education in the Age of Globalization” will look at education reform in the U.S. In his book by the same name, Dr. Zhao examines if America’s response to global competition is sufficient or if our system of education needs redesign.
Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend this free event. Tickets are required.
