Teaching is at the heart of the CEHS mission for enhancing the lives of individuals, families, schools and communities. Our faculty in CEHS prepare their students with professional resilience, knowledge and the skills to be successful in their lives and careers. Then, our graduates go on to careers that directly impact individuals in communities across Nebraska and beyond.

Without great teachers, none of that happens well. CEHS is fortunate (and so are its students) to have talented, dedicated, creative and caring faculty members teaching in the college. We have many examples of excellent teaching in our classrooms and that’s what a new web-based feature is here to share—examples of the excellence that can be found throughout the college.

“I’m proud of our CEHS faculty and their masterful teaching. This recognition of their teaching excellence is well deserved,” said Interim Dean Beth Doll. “We set high standards in CEHS for the teaching that we expect from our faculty and they continually surpass these standards. The quality of teaching is the biggest difference maker in our preparation of successful professionals. I’m pleased that these seven faculty members are helping us share this important story about our great college. I look forward to spotlighting the next set of great CEHS teachers.”
