Jacqueline Leonard, professor of elementary and early childhood education at the University of Wyoming, will lead a Nov. 26 research presentation on robotics and game design, and their effects on elementary education.
Her presentation, titled “Augmenting Rural and Urban Students’ Self-Efficacy, Attitudes toward Engineering/Technology, and Computational Thinking Skills with Robotics and Game Design,” will examine how engagement in robotics and game design has changed upper-elementary students’ self-efficacy, engineering/technology attitudes and computational thinking skills.
Leonard’s presentation is from 1–2:30 p.m. in Teachers College, Room 139. It is open to the public.
