Katie Edwards, associate professor of psychology at the University of New Hampshire, will lead a Nov. 29 research presentation on partner violence and sexual assault.
Her presentation, titled “Intimate Partner Violence and Sexual Assault: Translating Research into Evidence-based Prevention and Intervention Practices,” will examine intimate partner violence and sexual assault in our society, especially among adolescents and young adults.
Edwards will present data documenting the scope of the problem, discuss prevention initiatives and outline preliminary findings from newly funded intervention studies designed to address the issue.
Edwards’ presentation is from 9–10:30 a.m. in the Nebraska Union Georgian Suite. It is open to the public.
