
Cardiovascular Sciences Summer Research Program 2026
Wake Forest University School of Medicine – Winston-Salem, NC
The Cardiovascular Sciences Summer Research Program at Wake Forest University School of Medicine offers undergraduate students hands-on experience in biomedical laboratory or population health research. Participants work under the guidance of faculty mentors, attend a lecture and discussion series with experts, and present their research at an end-of-summer symposium. This program is an excellent opportunity for students interested in careers in biomedical sciences.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be undergraduate students in good academic standing.
Program Benefits:
- Paid summer research experience
- Housing provided in a Wake Forest residence hall
- Shuttle service while on campus
- Full-time, 40-hour work week commitment (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.)
- Participation in a summer research symposium during the last week of July
