Alternative Service Breaks (ASB) places teams of college students in communities to engage in community service and experiential learning during their summer, fall, winter or spring breaks.

Students perform short term projects for community organizations and learn about issues such as disaster relief and mitigation, literacy, poverty, racism, hunger, homelessness and the environment.

Information sessions on this this school year's ASBs will be offered in the Center for Civic Engagement (Room 222 Nebraska Union) on September 16th at 4:30PM, September 17th at 12:30Pm, and September 18th at 5:30PM. Come check out these great service-learning opportunities!
