The energetic willingness from students, faculty, and staff in the UNL community to serve flooded zones is testament to the heart of the University. Students and staff interested in serving flooded communities can sign up at unl.givepulse.com for the following upcoming service events related to flood recovery:



1. Fall Disaster Recovery Service Study ASB
When: Saturday, October 19th to Tuesday, October 22nd (fall break)

2. Spring Disaster Recovery Service Study ASB
When: Saturday, March 21st to Thursday, March 26th

Service Study ASB's combine service with an understanding of the cultural and social processes that underlie the service. Students at this ASB will serve Nebraska communities impacted by spring flooding. While there, students will learn the importance of respecting communities needs during natural disasters and strategies for implementing effective disaster recovery.
