FEMA is currently in Nebraska to help those affected by the recent major flooding. A part of FEMA’s plan, when helping survivors after a major disaster, is a program called “Local Hire" This program offers residents temporary positions with FEMA (up to 120 days with possible extensions for up to 365 days).
FEMA currently has several positions open which can be viewed on USAJobs.gov. To find these jobs, enter "Local Hire FEMA" in the search bar and specify the location as "Nebraska."
