Faculty planning to submit NSF CAREER proposals invited to ORED workshop on Dec. 6

UNL faculty planning to submit a proposal to the NSF Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Program are invited to attend a workshop hosted by ORED on Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. in the Nebraska East Campus Union, Prairie Suite.

Registration (click the link below) is required by Saturday, Dec. 2.

The workshop will feature a panel discussion with NSF CAREER awardees and a session on broader impacts designed to help position attendees to plan education and outreach activities for their CAREER proposals. The workshop is free and open to UNL faculty. A complementary lunch is included.

This workshop is a precursor to ORED's 2024 NSF CAREER Club, which provides a range of targeted support from January to July for faculty developing CAREER applications for submission in 2024. On Friday, Dec. 1, ORED will begin accepting applications to participate in CAREER Club. Faculty interested in participating in the 2024 NSF CAREER Club are strongly encouraged to attend the Dec. 6 workshop.
