The Omaha Streetcar project is a major urban transit initiative connecting downtown Omaha, Midtown, and the University of Nebraska Medical Center district. Delivering the system requires extensive surveying, utility coordination, and construction within a dense urban corridor.

SPEAKER BIOGRAPHIES
Fantasia Franco


Fantasia Franco is a Recruiting Coordinator with Stacy Witbeck, a national heavy civil contractor specializing in large transportation and transit infrastructure projects. In her role, she supports workforce development and talent recruitment for complex construction projects. She holds degrees in International Relations and Political Science from the University of Utah.

Suhas Patil, M.Sc.

Suhas Patil is a Segment Manager with Stacy Witbeck, working on the Omaha Streetcar Mainline Project as part of the Kiewit, Stacy Witbeck, and MEC team. His experience includes rail and transit infrastructure projects with the Utah Transit Authority, where he worked on track upgrades, rail crossings, and station construction. He holds a master’s degree in construction management from the University of Texas at Arlington and a B.Tech. in civil engineering from PES University.
