On April 13, the MwRSF conducted a succesful AASHTO MASH Test Level 5 tractor, van-trailer vehicle (80,000-lb) crash test into a 50-in. tall, half-section, single-slope, concrete bridge railing and deck system at 50 mph and 15 degrees. The sponsor for this research is Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation (Canada). Two Manitoba representatives attended the test, along with Governor Pete Ricketts, several NDOR directors, and other guests.
