Bridging Big Data (BBD) 2017 Workshop is Wednesday

The Bridging Big Data (BBD) 2017 Workshop is set for Wednesday (Oct. 4) at the Kiewit Training Center (1450 Mike Fahey St.) in Omaha from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. This workshop is collocated with the MBDH All-Hands Meeting.

The BBD workshop aims to bring together bridge dataset owners, big data solution providers and leading academics to identify opportunities with technologies for structural bridge health, address the challenges of data discovery and controlled sharing, transition bridge structural health data into pipelines that enable data science, create smart big data pipelines for aging rural bridge transportation infrastructure and use UAV/UAS for Structural Bridge Inspection.

Focus areas related to bridge structural health will include data management, decision support systems, social-technological impact and next-gen health monitoring.
