RESEARCH REMINDERS

ADR Events - Brown Bag Lunches for engineering faculty are planned through December.

From: Mark Riley

My goal as ADR is to grow the research portfolio in the college. I think that is best done by helping individual faculty to develop their programs, by building and supporting teams, and by fostering strategic partnerships.

I am looking for ways to get to know our faculty better and to see how I can help you develop your program. As department head in BSE at UNL we were fortunate to hire tremendous new faculty. I held brown bag lunch meetings with small groups of the newer faculty on a regular basis. The meetings did not have a formal agenda but provided a good opportunity for me to get to know the faculty, for them to get to know me and each other, and for us to talk about whatever pressing events were on going in the college, university, and beyond.

To that end, I invite you to participate in a series of informal, brown bag discussions on research. “Brown bag” meaning that you bring your own lunch if you so desire.
