Lance C. Pérez, dean, finds a work-life balance by competing in sports, especially in wheelchair softball. In October, Pérez will be on Team USA at an international tournament in Japan. He is featured in the Fall 2018 Nebraska Quarterly, a publication of the Nebraska Alumni Association.

Jared Schreiner has been hired as financial and grants manager. He previously was a financial specialist for the college and a grants specialist for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Schreiner has a B.S. in economics and a B.A. in business administration, with a minor in finance, from Nazareth College in Rochester, New York, and has worked for both Navigant Consulting in Washington, D.C., and for Citigroup in Buffalo, New York.
