Nebraska’s Christos Argyropoulos has received a three-year, $750,000 early career grant from the Office of Naval Research’s Young Investigator Program.
A U.S. Department of Defense award is helping Christos Argyropoulos, assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering, advance research into using ultrafast short-pulse lasers to create metal surfaces with properties that open the door to an array of national defense applications.
