Students in the UNL Game Development Club participated in the Chillennium Game Jam. The 48-hour game development competition was held Oct. 4-6 at the Texas A&M Memorial Student Center.

CSE students Casey Lafferty, Molly Lee, and Ian Meister competed as the UNL Alpha Squad and developed the game, “The Three Mutineers.” The object of the game is for the three participating game players to save a king, who then offers a reward that players can either share or steal by competing against each other. The game was developed around the competition theme “All For One And One For All.”

Team members also got to meet many representatives from the game development industry, including employees from EA, Insomniac Games, Unity, Epic Games, Bluepoint Games, and more.

The game can be downloaded from itch.io at https://rclafferty.itch.io/the-three-mutineers or from the club GitHub at https://github.com/UNL-Game-Dev-Club/The-Three-Mutineers/releases.
