E-Week Graduate Student Symposium

During Engineers Week (E-Week) 2020, the College of Engineering’s Graduate Student Advisory Board (GeSAB) is hosting a Graduate Student Symposium on Friday, Feb. 21 from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. in Lincoln.

NE Ride will be available for our Scott Campus-based students. This is a great opportunity for our graduate students to showcase their research, learn about research in other disciplines, and to network with colleagues. There are many ways for students to participate in the symposium including presenting at as a keynote or session speaker, competing in the Pitch Competition or multimedia session, attending the networking luncheon, or as an attendee. GeSAB has put the call out for presenters and proposals can be submitted at http://www.go.unl.edu/cp2n.

The deadline for submissions is December 2nd at 5 p.m.

Possible presentation opportunities include:
· Keynote: 25 minute talk which encompass holistic view of an engineering topic and align with the E-Week 2020 theme, Engineering for the Future. Preference will be given to graduate students at the end of their program and who exhibit interdisciplinary work.
· Sessions: Series of 15 minute presentation that share a commonality. The sessions are open to showcase research at all stages. Examples include: research ideas, review of a topic, or proposals.
