Pawlytics, a software startup led by pet care industry experts and University of Nebraska–Lincoln business graduates, is hiring a front-end developer.

Pawlytics is revolutionizing the pet care industry by creating electronic health records for pets that travel seamlessly with the pet and owner to different pet professionals and homes. Pawlytics is currently focused on the animal sheltering space and was founded on the mission of making sure no more pets needlessly die in shelters. Through a user-friendly and scalable SaaS product, Pawlytics has an offering that works for all types of animal shelter and rescue organizations. We are building our technology platform in Lincoln, Nebraska (the heartland) and are serving customers in the USA, London, Australia, Canada, and other countries.

Challenge:
Pawlytics is building a SaaS product for the pet care ecosystem. The challenge is extending a complex, data-heavy product on the back-end into a simple, elegant, and user-friendly interface on the front-end. We have laid the foundation and intend to continue to improve usability as the feature set grows.

Pawlytics is looking for someone who is not only technically proficient, but comfortable working with Users and Customers on occasion to debug, provide customer support/success, and perform research and development on a team.

Skill set:
· Strong understanding and experience with ReactJs
· Ability to convert design into pixel perfect HTML/CSS code
· Has written unit tests and integration tests in Javascript
· Understanding of REST and GraphQL APIs
· Familiarity with Javascript ES2016
· Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Intercom, · Sentry, CircleCI or similar.
· Familiarity with the git version control system
· Good interpersonal skills

Experience:
· 4+ years of professional experience building web applications desired
· Experience working with customers to solve bugs

Bonus Experience:
· Building on GraphQL APIs
· Experience working with a language such as Python, Go, or Ruby on the back end of web applications is a bonus

$48,000-$50,000 annual salary
