Do you like programming? How about problem solving? Would you like the opportunity to earn a trip to compete in another location in the world? If so, then participate in the ICPC Regional Programming Contest (the first in a series to qualify for the world finals) virtually on Feb. 27.

Contact Jeff Ifland (jifland@cse.unl.edu) if you are interested or would like more information by Feb. 19.

Additionally, there are practice sessions every Monday at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome, even if you are not interested in competing. Also contact Jeff if you would like the meeting ID to join in on these sessions.

The contest is structured as a 5-hour contest with three students from the same school. You will be given 8-12 problems to code programs to solve in that period of time, and the team who solves the most of them is the winner.

For more information and some previous years problems, see: https://ncna-region.unl.edu/
