Know Your Numbers Virtual Webinar
Monday, Feb. 22, 6:30-7:15 p.m.

Preventing heart disease begins by building healthy habits as a young adult. In this interactive webinar hosted by University Health Center provider Sheri Rowland, you’ll learn how people of color are at a higher risk for heart disease and discover practical ways you can beat the statistics and live a healthier life.

Free Breakfast and Wellness Profiles
Tuesday, Feb. 23, 8-11 a.m.
University Health Center

Wellness profiles are a quick blood draw that gives a snapshot of your health and detects possible problems. Enjoy a free to go breakfast for participating. Fasting after midnight is required.

Pre-registration required: Call 402.472.5000 to schedule a free Love Your Heart appointment. Wellness profiles are no cost for those who pay student fees.

Stress Reduction Yoga Class (in person and Zoom)

Yoga is a mind-body activity that can help reduce stress and lower blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose levels if practiced over time. Join this heart healthy, beginner level class, hosted by Campus Recreation Group Fitness Graduate Assistant Gabriella Abrego-Arambula.

Instagram Live Cook-a-long Class

Kappa Delta Chi Instagram (unl_kdchi)

Join students from Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc., and registered dietitian Ralph Ovonlen on the unl_kdchi Instagram account as they cook a heart healthy meal live. The recipe and ingredients will be shared in advance so that you can cook along with us.
