The 2012 Broadband Connecting Nebraska Conference will feature Vint Cerf, Google's Vice President, on October 2nd at the Cornhusker Hotel in downtown Lincoln.

Michael Curri, Strategic Networks Groups, will also speak. Curri has supported broadband initiatives for more than 15 years. The renowned broadband economist has a record of targeting opportunities for economic development through broadband. He and his firm have pioneered successful strategies for maximizing socio-economic benefits in information communication technology and broadband within communities and regions.

Sessions will cover topics including agriculture, human resources, education, business, health care, government, and gadgets and applications.

The conference, coordinated by the AIM Institute, is part of a broadband mapping and planning initiative.
