The internships are constructed to ensure that students get the most out of their summer. The focus lies on developing technical skills through project-orientated tasks. Interns can expect to work with the following: JAVA, VB, C, C++, COBOL, SAS, and SQL (application development/infrastructure support); ORACLE, DB2, IMS, Sybase and Lotus Notes; and internet, extranet, virtual private network, firewall protection.
Although the length of internships vary, students may work up to 40 hours a week and receive "competitive compensation". Applicants should have a 3.0 GPA or higher and be a junior or senior. There is a great deal of competition, so students should be prepared to highlight any accomplishments or achievements.
