You can request the acquisition of new books in CS or CE for research.
The books may not be software/language manuals or introductory CS/CE textbooks.
The process is as follows:
- Check on iris.unl.edu to make sure that UNL does not already have the book.
- Email Lisong Xu, the library liaison at xu@unl.edu a request using the following format:
TITLE:
AUTHORS/Editors:
ISBN: (*very* important field)
PUBLISHER:
- Xu will recommend the book for acquisition only if it is relevant to CSE education or research.
- The library acquires the book if sufficient funds are available.
Again, it is very important that *you* make sure the book is not already at UNL.
