The Student Resource Center in Avery 12 is a great place to get free help with your CSE classes. Tutors and teaching assistants staff the center and are ready to help you. Get to know this semester's tutors!

Michael Block is from Ogallala, Nebraska, and has been working in the SRC since the beginning of last spring semester. He interned at Northrop Grumman this summer and is currently taking Senior Design. Some advice from Michael is, “Only skip class if you don’t care about doing well in college”.

Bryan Melland is a junior computer science student from Kansas City, Missouri, and has been working in the SRC since the beginning of this semester. He is a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity and worked as an intern with Keyhole Software in Kansas City last summer. He studied abroad in Singapore during the spring semester of 2016. As a piece of advice to students, he recommends, “Never be afraid to ask for help, whether it is from a professor, TA, or even Google, use all the resources you have!”

Jacob Pribnow is a senior computer science major from Ames, Nebraska. He enjoys reading, running, hiking, and movies, among other things. He loves all things space and was lucky enough to intern at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center this summer. His advice to students of any major is not to rush through school. Take it easy, because by the time you're done you'll wish you had another year!

Andrew Schmidt is a junior studying computer engineering. His favorite classes so far have been 230 and 310. His hobby is collecting stamps, specifically from West Africa. He is also involved in Navigators on campus. Andrew has worked at Lone Mountain Truck Leasing (Omaha) and Trust Builders (Oregon). He's also worked at Sahel Academy and Galmi Hospital in Niger, West Africa. Andrew's advice for freshmen is and probably always will be to talk to your professors. "They generally want to see you and can help your studies greatly! They also are a lot cooler than you may think."

Maanas Datla is from Hyderabad, India, and had been working in the SRC since Spring 2015. He is the undergraduate liaison for Indian Students Association at UNL and is fluent in three languages. He is a serial binge-watcher, watching absurd amounts of TV each week. He is also taking Design Studio for the second time this year. A piece of advice from Maanas: "When in doubt, Google the problem. Learning to solve problems yourself in the first step. SRC Tutors and TA are always there to help in case you need an extra hand!"

Please ask these fantastic students for help and listen to their advice. The Student Resource Center is open Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
