Tech Student Worker Needed

The College of Arts & Sciences Office of the Dean is seeking a tech student worker to help the tech support team.

Primary duties include providing technical support to students and faculty/staff by email, phone, support tickets, or in person; including troubleshooting problems with software, operating systems, computer hardware, and network connections. Some special projects like managing computer inventory will also be assigned.

Highly motivated and driven to provide excellent customer service, ability to maintain a broad and continually evolving knowledge of technology, policies, procedures, and end user education. The day to day task of employees can vary from deploying computer workstations to helping an employee walk though steps of changing their active directory password.

Preference: Students who are Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program eligible for the 2016-17 academic year.

15-20 hours per week arranged within Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. office hours.

SALARY: $10/hour.
